Meet Nick! Our 1st Ambassador
Any memorable moments or achievements in your golfing journey so far?
Hitting a hole in one with my Bombtech 8 iron at 180 yards in a tournament and winning an Audi RS5 as a result. Also, appearing on the "Duffers Review" golf show with my Dad, one of my best buddies and some amazing people.
What are some of your favorite golf courses to play on?
Wolf Run (Reno, NV), Red Hawk (Sparka, NV), D'Andrea (Sparks, NV), Washoe (Reno, NV), Lakeridge (Reno, NV), Edgewood (South Lake Tahoe, NV), Toiyabe (Washoe, NV)
Any dream courses you'd love to play on in the future?
Torrey Pines, Pebble Beach, Wolf Creek, TPC Scottsdale, TPC Sawgrass, Old Greenwood, Grey's Crossing, Lahonttan
Favorite on course beverage and snack
Cranberry Long Drink and Beef Jerky
Any golfers past or present that you look up to as role models?
Tiger, Rickie Fowler and Scottie Scheffler
What do you love most about the game?
I love just being out on the course with my favorite people - all trying to achieve the same objective (getting to the hole); admiring the long shots that keep me coming back... If I hit bad shots, I can always drown them with some "birdie juice" which gives me confidence for the next one. It's the game to escape the stress of reality. A good friend once told me: everyone sucks at golf, some people just suck more than others, but it's fun no matter what.
Any hobbies or interests outside of golf?
Working out, mountain biking, hunting, flying, shooting, camping and sometimes video games
How did you get started in golf?
My Dad was always into golf and taught me as a kid. I got hooked when I was about twelve years old and started playing in a junior league. I've grown to appreciate it since then.
