The original dual cavity design was engineered with the University of Vermont capstone project in 2012-2013. This aerodynamic design was created to break up the airflow and reduce drag. The Tech Behind The New BombTech Driver (hint* it's bigger and stiffer)
We designed the 4.0 driver to be bigger at 460cc versus 450cc to give you even more confidence when stepping up to the tee. We strategically moved the heel and toe weights to be internal to further improve sound and feel. And lastly, we made the shaft stiffer by nearly 5cpms. The end result is a BIGGER, STIFFER driver that for us has reduced our mishits and lowered spin. The big hooks and slices that we once feared are greatly reduced with the shaft upgrade and confidence-inspiring head size.
During testing we hated to let our friends borrow them for a round, because it was our secret weapon!
In addition to the driver upgrades, we made our 3 wood larger and stiffer as well. Giving you more confidence to really go for it and bomb one from the tee or the deck.

Package arrived undamaged but the box did have a fold on it as if a heavier package was on top of it. Golf clubs were packaged nice and secure and looked great!
The Driver, 3 wood bundle is an amazing deal. These clubs have allowed me to hit the ball farther and I’m hitting more fairways!
The Bombtech driver is very forgiving, and though not as long as my Calloway, but that distance only when I would "catch" it and even then, I only would hit fairways 50% with it. Now with my Bombtech driver I hitting 90% of fairways and maybe 10 yards shorter which has helped me enjoy the game tremendously more. The 3 wood included is also money, 210 -220 yards dead straight 80% of the time, off the deck, tee up no matter. Customer service was excellent as well, Bombtech be my first stop when I am looking for more clubs
I purchased the 1st set of the 1 and 3 woods ( regular shafts) 2-3 years ago. Love them! They hit the ball better even if I screw something up on my swing. Very forgiving clubs. My game improved and I wanted more out of the club. I was ready to purchased new woods and irons all stiff shafts were amazing and wishing I had gone to stiff shafts years ago. Everything in the bag is Bombtech woods, hybrid, wedges, chippers, and irons except the putter. Thank you, Sully and the Team for making great products, and hope to see you out on the course someday.
The service from start to finish top notch. The clubs are solid, I am exchanging them for stiff flex the regular flex just arnt working for my son. The clubs are great quality and he is looking forward to the stiff flex but he loves the irons and wedges. The exchange is going great as I just got them boxed up and will be mailed tomorrow. Thanks
Stop reading. Stop thinking about it. Stop mulling it over. These are great clubs at a very fair price. I got the drivers as well as the wedges. I still make mistakes but these clubs have helped me a little make better poor shots and they're fantastic when I make good shots. So they're forgiving I guess. I'm happy and you'll be happy. And you'll keep more cash in your pocket. And this review wouldn't be complete without confirming that their customer service is top notch. I got the stiff shaft and realized I needed a regular. I sent a sheepish email acknowledging that I should have gone that route in the first place. Michael didn't make me feel bad, just put a new driver in the mail for me! I got it very quickly and was able to try them both out and then returned the one I didn't need with a mailing label they provided me. Short story: all the great things you are reading on this website are true. This is the kind of company you feel good about buying stuff from.
