Bought this totally as just a fun club to use at the range, ended up in the bag for 70%-power punches that shoot low under-trees or short chip'n'rolls. While the club definitely has a very specific use for me, I've had friends, family, and even driving range folks hit it if they are REALLY struggling with drivers and/or woods lengths causing the balls to have giant dispersion. Sure, they hit it a bit less far, but it's not sliced 30 yards right. If you can afford this club for fun/like me learning to love it's adaptability, it is easily worth the price.

I started taking golf slightly more seriously over the past few years and now I shoot closer to 100 than 150… Anyway, as I’ve improved through the school of YouTube and gotten into the single plane swing method, I found that my clone Nike square driver wasn’t what I needed (probably a bit on the stiff side. I tried a few budget options with no luck, and I finally decided to go with BombTech since I had been considering it for a while. I went with the regular/10.5. I’m glad I did! I got out to the range last weekend and hit, and aside for my very first swing I was extremely happy with all of my hits. This is now my go to driver after getting it re-gripped to midsize.
The driver and 3-wood were in excellent condition for pre owned. I could tell the 3 wood had been hit a few times, but the driver looked brand new.
Made me like golf again. Lol

The Tech Behind The New BombTech Driver (hint* it's bigger and stiffer)
We designed the 4.0 driver to be bigger at 460cc versus 450cc to give you even more confidence when stepping up to the tee. We strategically moved the heel and toe weights to be internal to further improve sound and feel. And lastly, we made the shaft stiffer by nearly 5cpms. The end result is a BIGGER, STIFFER driver that for us has reduced our mishits and lowered spin. The big hooks and slices that we once feared are greatly reduced with the shaft upgrade and confidence-inspiring head size.
During testing we hated to let our friends borrow them for a round, because it was our secret weapon!
